I discovered WWW Wednesday through Caffeinated Fae and decided that I wanted to start doing it. WWW Wednesday is a weekly tag that is hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

What are you currently reading?

The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow. I am thoroughly enjoying this so far. I’m listening to it through Audible and it’s so go. I’m thinking at some point of grabbing a physical copy to see which I prefer. I’m also curious to see how the second half of it goes now that January knows where she comes come and her journey to find her father.

What did you recently finish reading?

Julie & Julie: My Year of Cooking Dangerously by Julie Powell. I read this as a mix of both my physical copy and the audiobook from Hoopla. It was ok. One complaint is that the audiobook is different than the physical book. There are multiple full paragraphs completely missing from the audiobook reading and some sections where parts are moved around. I did like how the author was the one to narrate the book but I wish she had just properly read the actual book as it was published. There were some sections that I was skimming over while others I slowed down to take it all in. I can definitely see the blog being interesting when she had done it. Personally, I preferred the movie. Amy Adams and Meryl Streep were amazing and I think it did a better job at capturing everyone’s personalities. Overall for the book.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. This is probably my number one all time favorite book and this cover… BEAUTIFUL. Puffin Classics has such gorgeous covers and I was thrilled when I was able to get my hands on a copy of this. I’ve been wanting to reread this for a while but decided to wait until I had my pre-order of Meg & Jo so I could start that immediately after.

    1. Chapters weren’t missing. Just some paragraphs and in other parts paragraphs moved around. And I agree. Very strange
